Roller Compacted Concrete Construction Supervision
Site supervision during the placement and curing of roller compacted concrete (RCC) is important to ensure the concrete supplier and contractor follows appropriate construction practices. Follow-up testing can help determine if the RCC meets the design specifications as provided by the RCC supplier.

Feedlot and Catch Basin Construction
Site supervision during the construction of a feedlot, especially during base preparation, is important to ensure proper construction practices are implemented. Pen base proof rolling and density testing ensures that the base material is properly compacted.
Catch basin supervision helps to ensure undesirable materials (sand or gravel seams) or high water table is properly identified and address during construction . Third party verification of the pen base materials and catch basin construction may be required by the Natural Resources Conservation Board.

Catch Basin Management
A properly sized and managed catch basin will help to minimize runoff risk from the livestock operation. Volume calculations are based on runoff area and local rainfall data. Maintaining capacity by removing accumulated manure in the bottom of the facility and throughout the drainage ditches will help to ensure the facility operates properly.
A pumping and sprinkler combo unit is a low-cost approach to apply catch basin content onto the landscape. Application rates can be adjusted based on field capacity. Portability makes it easy to move the unit to other part of the field.
